Job Summary
Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repair for production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic controls. Supervise team members performing predictive, preventative, and breakdown maintenance while managing spare parts inventory and vendor contracts. Lead workforce development through training plans, performance evaluations, and goal-setting to support high-volume operations. Ensure compliance with Hazmat and OSHA standards while partnering with engineering to streamline processes and reduce turnaround times. Work Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with overtime and weekends as needed, lifting up to 100lbs. Assist in hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new associates.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience with high school diploma/GED
- 5 years in a facility maintenance position
- 2 years in electrical repair
- 2 years of conveyor maintenance and repair experience
- 2 years in a maintenance supervisory or lead position
- Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts
- Ability to stand and/or walk continuously during the assigned shift
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 100lbs during the assigned shift - 30lbs or less continuously, 50lbs frequently, and 100lbs occasionally
- Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift
- Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends
- Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases
- Depth perception
- Ability to see in color
- Ability to see objects in close proximity as well as at a distance
- Peripheral vision
- Ability to adjust sight focus
