Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor role overseeing daily maintenance operations at a residential community. Lead and supervise maintenance staff, hire/train onboard employees, manage work orders and make-readies (painting, flooring, cleaning, rekeying, repairs), coordinate with vendors, maintain safety records, manage inventory and SDS, perform inspections and ensure resident satisfaction, respond to after-hours emergencies, and uphold OSHA and company safety standards. Requires 3+ years of maintenance experience with supervisory exposure, strong technical skills across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment, and proficiency with property management software (Yardi preferred) and MS Office. High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license; eligible to work in the U.S.; background check and drug screen. Occasional collaboration with HR and participation in on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of related maintenance experience, preferably at a supervisory level
- Preferred certifications such as CPO and CAMT
- Experience leading a team with ability to source, interview and manage employee performance
- High level of competency in electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, appliance repair, carpentry, and painting
- Thorough knowledge of Federal Fair Housing and applicable regulations
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and property management software (preferably Yardi)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High school education or equivalent required
- Must be 18+ and have a valid driver's license
- Ability to speak, read and write English sufficiently for duties
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S. (I-9)
