Job Summary
Coordinate property safety, maintenance, and equipment needs by managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs. Order supplies for inventory and schedule projects in vacant apartments ahead of time to ensure timely completion. Manage large capital projects including bidding, supervising contractors, and reviewing completed work while communicating with vendors and staff to resolve issues. This role requires three years of experience in multi-family apartment settings, HVAC and EPA certification, and proficiency with Yardi. Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years minimum experience as a Maintenance Supervisor (preferred) or Technician in a multi-family apartment setting or equivalent industry
- HVAC and EPA Certification
- Experience with Yardi
- Experience in estimating maintenance and repair timelines and costs associated with projects
- The ability to set goals and create a plan to accomplish them
- The ability to understand and work within a budget
- Knowledge of property management at the leasing and administrative levels
- Intermediate computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite
- Proven time management skills in meeting deadlines and achieving goals
- The ability to create a team-centered environment and lead that team effectively
- The ability to take direction from leadership and follow through on the directive
