Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for workers installing, repairing, and fabricating metal parts across thermoformed production lines. Direct staff in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance while overseeing preventative programs, tool crib operations, and equipment calibration. Requisition spare parts, analyze production schedules to estimate labor requirements, and interpret blueprints to assign duties. Monitor the maintenance budget, prepare job costing reports, and enforce safety regulations by interpreting company policies. Resolve work problems, appraise performance, and suggest improvements to production methods and equipment efficiency. Work all shift schedules with periodic overtime and weekend availability in a moderate to high noise environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 4 + years related experience
- three to five years of supervisory related experience
- training
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Working knowledge of statistics
- basics of SPC
- Must have the ability to work all shift schedules
- Must be available for periodic overtime
