Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor responsible for improving plant uptime and adherence to schedules via preventive/predictive/prescriptive maintenance programs; supervise tradespeople and coordinate with manufacturing and outsourcing teams to implement maintenance initiatives, capital projects, and continuous improvement. Key duties include ensuring HSEQ compliance, providing technical support on safety, quality, energy management, and environmental issues, managing spare parts and budget, leading a high-performing trades team, driving root-cause analysis for machine downtime, and guiding engineering projects from design to commissioning. Strong emphasis on leadership, problem solving, stakeholder management, and a culture of right-first-time quality; requires 5+ years of maintenance supervision experience, GMP/HACCP knowledge, and exposure to SAP or similar systems. Qualifications include a minimum trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical; additional training in Continuous Improvement Systems and Project Management is highly desirable.
