Job Summary
Comply with all Health & Safety rules and immediately report deficiencies or hazards. Assign work, guide the Maintenance Team, and ensure tasks meet specifications, tolerances, and quality standards. Maintain accountability for schedules and productivity, submit shift documentation, and report issues with timelines and costs to the Plant Manager. Operate small-scale equipment and maintain conveyors, hoppers, pits, and related equipment in clean, orderly conditions. Train and support employees as needed while ensuring tools are properly used and returned. This hands-on role supports daily maintenance and welding activities within the facility under the Plant Manager's direction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 4+ years of Maintenance, fabrication, and/or welding experience in a manufacturing or precast environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe boots
- Ability to work in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment with regular exposure to dust, noise, extreme temperatures, and moving machinery
- Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work in elevated areas
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to work in person
