Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor leading proactive maintenance programs in an automated food processing/bakery environment. Responsibilities include planning equipment overhauls, establishing efficient work-order systems, guiding capital projects and multi-year plans, defining KPIs, managing department budgets, fostering continuous improvement, ensuring GMP/safety/regulatory compliance, developing SOPs, overseeing building alterations and equipment sourcing, and maintaining high standards for housekeeping and environmental quality.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in an automated food processing plant, with bakery experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years of comprehensive food safety and quality experience in automated food processing plants and bakeries
- Basic knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Familiarity with equipment setup, operating procedures, and preventative maintenance techniques
- Comprehensive understanding of GMPs
- Experience in budgeting and cost control
- Compliance with GMPs, safety standards, and regulatory codes (OSHA, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, wastewater, water quality)
