Job Summary
Oversee maintenance activities by performing routine repairs on heavy machinery, installing electrical lines, and conducting preventative maintenance on HVAC and plumbing systems. Lead and develop a team of technicians to execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across all plant equipment while performing leadership duties in the Manager's absence. Foster a culture of safety through training sessions and regular audits, ensuring all work meets strict safety and quality standards. Work a dayshift from 6am to 2:30pm with nights and weekends on call as business dictates.
Required Qualifications
- Proven supervising or management experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment, minimum of two (2) years
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance tasks involving schematics and technical diagrams
- Demonstrated electrical experience including working with high voltage and low voltage systems
- Proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage projects effectively, and communicate fluently in English
- Ability to interpret schematics accurately
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and industrial systems
- Dayshift 6am-2:30pm
- Work nights and/or weekends on call as business dictates
- Stand, bend, stretch for hours at a time and lift finished products overhead
- Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds if necessary
- Ability to communicate in professional tone and manner in both verbal and written means
- Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency
- Basic computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Proven supervising or management experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment, minimum of two (2) years preferred
- Plastic Injection Molding experience preferred
- Trade School Certification, High School Degree, or equivalent are preferred
