Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor responsible for supervising all property maintenance activities across grounds, interior and exterior, ensuring curb appeal, timely work order completion, and move-in readiness. Leads on-call emergency maintenance, schedules and coordinates service requests, procures bids, negotiates with vendors/contractors, and manages contracts/warranties. Provides ongoing training and leadership to maintenance staff, with emphasis on cleanliness, efficiency, documentation, and safety. Requires experience with high-rise/mid-rise apartment buildings, strong customer service and communication skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize, and familiarity with property management software (Yardi preferred). Weekend and holiday work and occasional on-call duties are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to supervise maintenance staff and manage contracts/warranties
- Knowledge of property management software (Yardi preferred)
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance
