Job Summary
Install and maintain production machines, replacing belts, filters, gears, and valves while troubleshooting pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic problems. Perform repairs involving machine guarding, bolt replacement, and welds, then execute preventative maintenance like lubricating parts and aligning equipment. Lead less experienced hourly employees through training, mentoring, scheduling, and coaching to resolve issues with minimal disruption to production schedules. Complete maintenance recordkeeping, update history logs, account for used equipment, and ensure adherence to GMP policies and safety rules. Work long hours and weekends as needed to support the company's food processing operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience
- Experience in a food processing environment
- Ability to work flexible hours/shifts as needed
- May be required to work long hours and weekends
