Job Summary
Plan, schedule, and supervise I&E Technicians for High Voltage, HVAC, and motor maintenance activities. Coordinate maintenance programs to optimize manpower, analyze costs, and ensure accurate time cards and work plans. Conduct safety meetings, audits, and incident investigations while enforcing environmental and health standards. Manage plant-wide power systems from 34.5 KV to 480 V, oversee chiller maintenance, and lead motor testing initiatives. Evaluate individual performance to identify training needs and support technician growth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Completion of an approved Instrument/Electrical course
- Minimum of 5 years plant experience
- Good working knowledge of equipment, materials, techniques, and safeguards in respective discipline for maintenance and construction of a continuous process chemical plant
- Proven supervisory/administrative skills
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows
- Ability to communicate to all levels of local management and to other departments to explain problems and proposed solutions
- Ability to impact and influence, and to persuade others to a particular course of action
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
