Job Summary
Supervise daily maintenance activities, including assigning work, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of tasks for maintenance personnel, contractors, and production teams. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs, utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System for work orders, and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime. Lead safety and housekeeping efforts within assigned areas, promote IKO safety goals, and ensure all work complies with NFPA, OSHA, and environmental regulations. Coordinate repairs, assist in capital projects, and maintain accurate maintenance records to support reliability initiatives and continuous improvement. Work every day, on time, as scheduled, including a 12-hour rotating shift schedule covering days and nights.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Maintenance Supervisory experience
- Five or more years of manufacturing experience
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, self-starter with a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to make sound decisions within scope of responsibility
- Ability to provide simple and accurate instructions
- Ability to work at times in a high temperature environment
- Frequent lifting or moving materials up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work 12 hour rotating shift schedule including working days and nights and rotating frequently if needed
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work from heights
- Must have the ability & willingness to perform at the expected level of attendance at IKO Glass Fibers, Inc.; to work every day, on time, as scheduled
