Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership and operational oversight for onsite maintenance staff across the portfolio, assigns technicians to properties, coordinates emergency on-call coverage, manages staff schedules and timekeeping, and supports coaching, training, and performance management. Works with Property Management to ensure work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards, conducts inspections and quality reviews (including unit turnovers and common area repairs), develops preventative maintenance programs, ensures HQS and Warrant of Habitability compliance, coordinates emergency on-call schedules, provides technical guidance during critical situations (e.g., HVAC systems, hot water heaters), and monitors maintenance expenditures and vendor invoicing. Strong emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, resident health and safety, and cross-department collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Trade certification or Bachelor's degree in facility management, construction management, or related field
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in property maintenance or facilities management, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity
- Valid driver’s license and ability to be insurable under HC’s automobile insurance
Additional Requirements
- Residency in Larimer or Weld County required; relocation up to six months if not currently resident; technicians must live within 30 minutes of properties
