Job Summary
Conduct daily tactical execution of maintenance priorities, including Daily Direction Setting meetings and creating shift assignments for mechanics. Lead a 24/7 team through planned maintenance strategies that support safety, quality, and reliability metrics like MTBF and MTTR. Coordinate repair schedules for machines, tools, and utility systems while driving root cause analysis on losses and repetitive problems. Ensure full team staffing and cross-training for packaging equipment under a rotating 4/3 schedule from 6:00am to 6:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- 5 - 10 years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required
- Knowledge of TPM and continuous improvement methods
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures
- Computer literacy in programming and ladder logic
- Knowledge of OSHA, local, state, and federal health and safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively in a technical manner with other White Wave Associates and White Wave Contacts
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations that Maintenance encounters
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical data in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables to arrive at a reasonable solution
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately
- Ability to understand vague and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations
- Ability to be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people
- Ability to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner
- Ability to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans

- Ability to regularly stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talk or hear
- Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme cold, noise, vibration, hazards, atmospheric conditions, oils, and wearing a respirator
- Ability to work M-F 6:00am to 6:30pm or 6:00pm to 6:30am
- Ability to work a Rotating 4/3 schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from 4 - year college or University
- Preferably in Engineering
