Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •5 - 10 years related experience and/or training
• •Equivalent combination of education that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required
• •Knowledge of TPM and continuous improvement methods
• •Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
• •Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
• •Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures
• •Computer literacy in programming and ladder logic
• •Knowledge of OSHA, local, state, and federal health and safety regulations
• •Ability to communicate effectively in a technical manner with other White Wave Associates and White Wave Contacts
• •Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations that Maintenance encounters
• •Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed
• •Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• •Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• •Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical data in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables to arrive at a reasonable solution
• •Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
• •Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
• •Ability to distinguish colors accurately
• •Ability to understand vague and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations
• •Ability to be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people
• •Ability to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner
• •Ability to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans
• •Ability to understand people and be able to communicate effectively with them
• •Ability to regularly stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talk or hear
• •Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch
• •Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• •Ability to be subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme cold, noise, vibration, hazards, atmospheric conditions, oils, and wearing a respirator
• •Ability to work M-F 6:00am to 6:30pm or 6:00pm to 6:30am
• •Ability to work a Rotating 4/3 schedule

Desired Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from 4 - year college or University
• •Preferably in Engineering
