Job Summary
Lead, train, and develop maintenance associates while supervising daily operations of the maintenance department. Plan, schedule, and coordinate all preventive maintenance and repair work for guest rooms, public areas, and hotel systems. Inspect spaces to identify needs, then repair electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, complete touch-up work, and replace building components. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned throughout the property.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance or engineering experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general building maintenance
- Proficiency with hand tools and maintenance equipment
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and other departments
- Frequent lifting and carrying of materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when necessary
- Regular use of hand tools, ladders, maintenance equipment, paint supplies, and cleaning chemicals
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and any applicable pre-employment screenings
