Job Summary
Manage resident service requests, routine repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure community safety, functionality, and cleanliness. Oversee the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and repairs, while supervising vendors and team members. Maintain inventory of supplies and tools within budgetary guidelines, conduct safety meetings, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and local regulations. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies, requiring weekend, evening, and morning availability. Assist with setup and stabilization of new communities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency with hand tools, mechanical equipment, and basic office software
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience/training
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50lbs regularly and occasionally heavier loads
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, outdoors)
- Good vision and hearing for safety and equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations
- Ability to work full-time, including evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed
- Comfortable working in noisy, dusty, or confined spaces
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Desired Qualifications
- CPO certification (be willing to obtain)
