Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor responsible for planning, organizing and providing supervision for daily maintenance operations. Maintain a safe work environment by meeting company policies and OSHA regulations; maintain overall equipment reliability; meet daily with production supervision and staff to understand critical issues; foster an environment of continuous improvement; work with planners/scheduler to coordinate maintenance work tasks; determine schedules and workload for staff; oversee and administer duties relating to the computerized maintenance system; assess and schedule staff training needs; evaluate staff and make hiring and termination regulations; comply with company and regulatory rules and procedures; maintain budget and advise on budgetary/financial needs; maintain effective working relationships with management to meet departmental objectives; assist in developing and implementing goals, policies and work standards for the department. Must have leadership skills and sharp analytical/critical thinking; conduct yearly staff performance reviews; follow all safety, food safety, & GMP rules and regulations; conduct other duties as assigned by management. A shift (12am to 8am).
Required Qualifications
- Leadership skills
- Knowledge of supervisor principles and safe maintenance activities
- Experience with scheduling, planning, and coordinating maintenance work tasks
- Experience with CMMS or equivalent maintenance management system
- Ability to conduct staff performance reviews
- Familiarity with safety, GMP, and food safety regulations
