Job Summary
Oversee all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance, including appliance troubleshooting, drywall, and painting. Directly manage unit turnovers and coordinate contractor work while maintaining a professional demeanor. Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation and be available for weekend shifts. This role reports to the Community Manager at Chapline House Apartments, a fast-growing property management company in Prince Frederick, Maryland. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years prior apartment maintenance experience
- Experience with appliance repairs
- Experience with general carpentry
- Experience with basic plumbing
- Experience with basic electrical work
- Experience with drywall and painting
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Must have previous experience with apartment maintenance
- Experience with appliance troubleshooting
- Ability to understand and oversee work performed by contractors
- Pleasant and professional demeanor
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Extensive mobility
- Excellent physical condition
- Ability to work weekends
- Willingness to be part of an on-call rotation
