Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Conduct hands-on maintenance of community apartments and mechanical systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting. Supervise and direct general maintenance staff, delegating tasks, managing performance reviews, and handling disciplinary issues. Perform on-call emergency services and complete regular community inspections while monitoring the maintenance budget and inventory. Prepare weekly and monthly status reports and ensure all staff adhere to safe work practices and Fair Housing laws. Assist the Property Manager on capital improvement projects and represent the company professionally with residents and coworkers.
Required Qualifications
- Works as a team participant along with the maintenance staff to ensure quality maintenance standards set by the Company are met and exceeded.
- 3 to 5 years of verifiable hands-on technical work experience in the areas of plumbing, electrical, carpentry/construction, HVAC, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be EPA or CFC Certifiable
- A Valid driver's license and good driving record along with auto insurance required
- Minimum of three years verifiable hands-on maintenance experience in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
- Able to work after hours and take emergency calls
- Pre-Employment Background screen
- Understands and complies with Fair Housing laws and standards.
