Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Conduct hands-on maintenance of the community, including inspection, repair, and preparation of apartments for market. Supervise the maintenance department by delegating tasks, training staff, and managing performance reviews while ensuring all work meets company standards. Respond to resident service requests promptly and handle emergency on-call duties for mechanical equipment, grounds, and common areas. Manage maintenance inventory, prepare status reports, and monitor the budget control ledger in coordination with the Property Manager. Adhere to safe work practices, Fair Housing laws, and all regulatory requirements while representing the company professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Multi-family experience
- Verifiable work experience in the apartment industry in a maintenance position
- 3 to 5 years of verifiable hands-on technical work experience in the areas of plumbing, electrical, carpentry/construction, HVAC, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be EPA or CFC Certifiable
- A Valid driver's license and good driving record along with auto insurance
- Minimum of three years verifiable hands-on maintenance experience in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work after hours and take emergency calls
- Pre-Employment Background screen
- Understands and complies with Fair Housing laws and standards
