Job Summary
Shop maintenance supervisor responsible for supervising maintenance staff, ensuring a pro-active safety-focused approach in line with OSHA and company guidelines, understanding setup and operation of all shop equipment, inspecting equipment and reporting defects, evaluating processes to improve production methods and quality, acting as a technical resource to address problems, maintaining supplies and maintenance records, and overseeing staffing, performance feedback, and training in collaboration with the EHS manager to ensure proper training on equipment and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-5 years' related supervisory experience
- A high school diploma or GED
- Experience in metal fabrication and machining environments preferred
- Experience and certification for material handling equipment to include forklifts
- Pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting is a plus
- Automotive repair experience is a plus
- Pre-employment drug test required
