Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor oversees and performs technical and mechanical work to maintain and improve apartment community buildings, grounds, and amenities; manages make-ready processes, coordinates with vendors/contractors, develops and enforces maintenance standards, conducts periodic inspections, maintains inventory, assists in budgeting, and leads maintenance team to ensure safety, quality, and timely service to residents; requires OSHA/MSDS knowledge, EPA certifications, pool/spa operator certifications, and heavy emphasis on safety, customer service, and scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; college or technical degree is preferred
- 2 to 3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling, a valid Certified Pool Operator or a Certified Spa and Pool Operator certificate as well as all certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions
- Current valid driver’s license
