Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in a healthcare/long-term care facility. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and supervising maintenance staff; conducting and documenting fire system inspections and monthly drills; developing and implementing a preventive maintenance program; inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators; managing supplies and budget; coordinating with external contractors; ensuring safety, compliance, and operational standards; training staff on safety procedures; scheduling staffing according to census and labor budgets. Requires facility maintenance experience (healthcare or long-term care preferred), knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems, ability to implement a preventive maintenance program, strong leadership and communication skills, and budgeting/supply management capabilities.
