Job Summary
Conduct repair of building exterior, grounds, mechanical systems, plumbing, and other community assets. Establish and maintain schedules for routine maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, painting, and turnover work. Implement preventive maintenance programs and supervise all contract work to ensure quality. Ensure vacated apartments are in make-ready condition for showing and renting. Serve as on-call emergency maintenance contact at night or on weekends. Operate property within established budget and maintain updated inventory of tools and furniture. Attend trade association meetings and seminars when possible. Work Monday through Friday with weekends and on-call rotation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of general maintenance experience
- 6+ months in a multi-family or institutional work order environment
- HVAC or EPA Universal certification required
- CPO Certification required
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- college-level/trade school preferred
- CAMT certification

- first aide certification
- Wood working experience
- Basic computer proficiency
- YARDI experience
