Job Summary
Oversee maintenance operations at a multifamily community. Supervise and develop maintenance team; ensure units are occupancy-ready with repairs and make-ready tasks; coordinate inspections, move-ins/outs, and projects with the Community Manager; manage service requests and maintain quality, safety, and budget adherence. Perform preventive maintenance for property systems, supervise on-site staff, coordinate vendors and warranties, and conduct hands-on maintenance duties as needed; maintain clean work areas and respond to emergencies and weather conditions; communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years general maintenance experience; multifamily experience preferred
- Prior supervisory experience required
- EPA Freon Recovery (Type I & II or Universal) required
- Certifications: CAMT, HVAC, plumbing, or additional trade certifications preferred
- Required state/local permits (pool, electrical, HVAC, plumbing)
