Maintenance Supervisor - Extrusion

Job Summary
Supervise and coach a team of maintenance technicians to assign daily activities, lead troubleshooting of extrusion lines, and execute a robust Preventive Maintenance program. Perform root cause analysis, manage the CMMS system for work orders and purchase orders, and control spare parts inventory to minimize downtime. Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement while analyzing equipment data to drive reliability strategies and cost efficiency. Cover first shift 7–3:30 with flexibility for second and third shift support, with a focus on solving complex mechanical and electrical challenges in a plastics manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms
- Must be able to lift, climb, and work on feet for extended periods
- Flexibility to support off-hours or emergency maintenance needs
- Shift: Covering first shift 7 - 3:30 with some coverage on 2nd and 3rd shift when needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in plastics or extrusion operations preferred
- Familiarity with extrusion equipment (preferred)
