Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor leads the maintenance team in a food manufacturing facility, performing hands-on maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration equipment; leads preventative maintenance; ensures safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, HACCP, USDA); and drives continuous improvement and team development in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience
- at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration skills
- troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment
- knowledge of OSHA, HACCP, and USDA guidelines in a food production environment
- high school diploma or GED
- technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance mechanics
- experience in meat processing preferred
- proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and technical manuals
- ability to read, write, speak, understand English sufficiently to perform duties
