Job Summary
Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate Maintenance Technicians while assigning and prioritizing daily work on industrial electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment. Diagnose equipment failures, perform corrective repairs, and coordinate installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects to minimize downtime. Administer preventive maintenance programs, maintain records and inventory, and oversee outside contractors to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety policies. Respond to equipment emergencies, conduct root cause analysis, and perform welding, fabrication, and general facility maintenance as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Good attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform lifting, twisting, and bending
- Sufficient visual acuity to safely inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and operate maintenance equipment and machinery
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate tools, machinery, keyboards, controls, and testing equipment
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to work from elevated platforms
- Must be able to enter confined spaces (when properly trained)
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures
- Must be able to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Must be able to handle exposure to moving machinery, noise, heat, dust, fumes, electrical hazards, welding operations, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Must be able to work outdoors
- Must be able to comply with all company safety policies
- Must be able to wear safety glasses
- Must be able to wear steel-toed footwear
- Must be able to wear hearing protection
- Must be able to wear hard hat (designated areas)
- Must be able to wear respiratory protection (when required)
- Must be able to wear other task-specific protective equipment
- Must be able to work overtime
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be able to respond to emergency call-ins
- Must be able to pass Fresno Valves & Castings' Drug and Alcohol Testing requirements
- Must be able to complete a company application at the time of the interview

Desired Qualifications
- Technical training or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field
- Minimum five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- At least three (3) years of supervisory or lead experience
- Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other mobile equipment used in industrial maintenance
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Experience with welding, fabrication, plumbing, and facility maintenance
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical manuals
