Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing a maintenance team, ensuring adherence to safety practices, and maintaining community standards through technical skills in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repair. Key responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, performing preventative maintenance, conducting regular inspections, handling service requests, preparing annual budgets for maintenance projects, and representing the community professionally. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have over three years of technical experience, previous supervisory experience, and be able to manage equipment and emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of direct technical work experience in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
- Previous supervisory experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance
- Willing to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours
