Job Summary
Direct and oversee all aspects of maintenance for a 74-unit affordable property in San Antonio, including scheduling preventative maintenance, inspections, nighttime lighting audits, and janitorial services. Walk the property daily to monitor safety issues and curb appeal while coordinating apartment turns, renovations, and resident move-outs. Manage inventory, solicit contractor bids, and track invoices to guarantee timely payment, ensuring all work adheres to NRP policy. Complete service requests and after-hours emergency responses 24/7, conduct monthly safety meetings, and train new hires. Generate work schedules for service employees and provide ongoing performance feedback.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2+ years of experience maintenance and repair for apartment communities
- Valid Driver's License
- reliable transportation
- Strong computer skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- proficiency in Yardi
