Job Summary
Hire, supervise, and manage the performance of maintenance team members while ensuring adherence to established safety regulations. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to verify that insurance and licenses remain current. Conduct regular inspections of all Life Safety Systems, including fire extinguishers, sprinkler, and alarm systems. Maintain inventory control for general supplies, parts, and equipment, tracking usage and ordering as needed. Manage the department within budgetary guidelines and implement the department's safety and disaster plan. Requires two years of supervisory experience in maintenance or plant-related positions with knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, blueprints, and building codes.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance/plant related position
- Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
- Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations
