Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise all repairs, installations, and modifications while directing department activities to ensure high-quality productivity and safety. Provide leadership through training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, and maintain critical spare parts inventory. Work with Operations to minimize downtime and monitor the Preventive Maintenance Program. Assist in planning plant projects, outages, and department policy development. Attend site as scheduled and perform other duties as required. This role involves travel to Corry/Warren Plants and may require off-hours, weekends, and all operating shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Technical or Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a commensurate level of related experience and education
- Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical and/or electrical repair within a steel manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Experience with preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints including GD&T tolerancing
- Strong Math skills and problem solving ability
- Ability to work well with a team and other departments while also working independently
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Results oriented with a focus on organization and prioritization
- Familiarity with Syteline, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be willing to work all operating shifts as deemed necessary based on business needs
- Must be able to travel to the Corry/Warren Plants
- Must be available for off hours, weekends and all operating shifts
Desired Qualifications
- 3 – 5 or more years direct supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior Management/Leadership/Supervisory classes/training
