Job Summary
Lead maintenance team by preparing schedules, coordinating workorders, and training staff to ensure service requests are resolved correctly and on time. Oversee turnkey operations to make vacant units rent-ready, performing repairs and managing quality standards while troubleshooting plumbing and minor electrical issues. Walk vacant units to assess make-ready needs, coordinate manager efforts for scheduling, and approve major replacement contracts. Complete grounds work including trash removal, sweeping, pressure washing, and landscape maintenance. Respond to 24-hour emergency maintenance calls as required. Requires high school education, three years of facility maintenance experience, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school/GED or specialized vocational training
- At least three (3) years' experience in building and facility maintenance
- Some of which has been supervisory
- Ability to read and write in English at intermediate level
- Ability to do basic math for measuring
- Ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines
- High level of integrity
- Ability to handle confidential resident information
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Current automobile insurance
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Licensing and trade certification in HVAC, Electrical Wiring, or Plumbing
