Job Summary
Lead maintenance team in preparing schedules, coordinating workorders, and training staff to ensure service requests and repairs are completed correctly and timely. Oversee turnkey operations to make vacant units rent-ready, performing repairs including plumbing, minor electrical work, and grounds maintenance such as trash removal and landscape care. Troubleshoot systems and walk vacant units to assess make-ready needs, coordinating major replacement purchases with management approval. Manage 24-hour emergency maintenance responses with on-call availability as required. Maintain accurate data records for all activities and utilize computers for data entry and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school/GED or specialized vocational training
- At least three (3) years' experience in building and facility maintenance
- Some of which has been supervisory
- Ability to read and write in English at intermediate level
- Ability to do basic math for measuring
- Ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines
- High level of integrity
- Ability to handle confidential resident information
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Current automobile insurance
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Licensing and trade certification in HVAC
- Licensing and trade certification in Electrical Wiring
- Licensing and trade certification in Plumbing
