Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor Leads the maintenance team at Ekos at Arbor Park in North Port, FL, coordinating schedules, work orders, and training; ensures vacant units are rent-ready in a timely manner and oversees turnkey maintenance, repairs (plumbing and minor electrical), grounds work, and 24-hour emergency responses; emphasizes data recording and reporting of activities, and requires basic math and English literacy, with HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing licenses highly desired; 3 years of building/facility maintenance experience (including some supervisory) and a high school diploma or vocational training are required; valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school/GED or specialized vocational training
- At least three (3) years' experience in building and facility maintenance, some supervisory
- Licensing and trade certification in HVAC, Electrical Wiring, or Plumbing highly desired
- Must be able to read and write in English at intermediate level to read diagrams, meters, instructions, write reports, etc.; ability to do basic math
- Must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
