MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians, provide training and mentorship, ensure execution of the maintenance schedule, oversee PM/PdM activities, drive improvements in equipment reliability, perform root cause analysis, enforce safety protocols, coordinate with planners and external vendors, maintain records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance processes. The role requires strong leadership, mechanical expertise across rotating equipment, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and experience with predictive maintenance and RCFA in heavy industrial manufacturing environments. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent in mechanical field, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred
- Minimum 10 years of industrial maintenance and/or millwright experience
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical maintenance principles and equipment (rotating equipment, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics)
- Experience with preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), vibration analysis, lubrication best practices, RCFA
- Familiarity with maintenance systems (eMaint) preferred
- Excellent communication skills and safety commitment
- Experience in pellet mill, biomass facility, wood products, sawmill, pulp and paper, mining, steel, power generation environments preferred
