Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of property maintenance, including grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency repairs for luxury apartment communities. Manage inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies while placing orders for necessary maintenance services. Perform hands-on work indoors and outdoors, utilizing personal transportation to pick up supplies from vendors. Requires HVAC certification, electrical and plumbing experience, and at least two years of maintenance experience. Obtain Fair Housing Certification and maintain regular, prompt attendance. Schedule includes on-call rotation and physical demands involving climbing stairs, ladders, and lifting materials.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Maintenance experience
- HVAC certification
- Electrical and plumbing experience
- Minimum level of High School education or equivalent
- Good Leadership skills
- Good organizational skills
- Obtaining Fair Housing Certification
- Regular and prompt attendance required
- Must be able to work indoors as well as outdoors
- Must be able to be on feet, climb stairs, push, pull, climb ladders, lift and carry materials and equipment of varying weights
- Must be able to utilize personal transportation to pick up supplies from vendors
- Must have neat appearance
