Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of property maintenance, including grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency repairs. Manage inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies while placing orders for necessary maintenance services. Perform indoor and outdoor work, utilizing personal transportation to visit vendors, and handle physical demands such as climbing stairs, ladders, and lifting materials. Respond to general and specific maintenance issues while communicating effectively with residents, employees, vendors, and prospects. Obtain and maintain Fair Housing Certification. Requires HVAC, electrical, and plumbing expertise alongside leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Maintenance experience
- HVAC certification
- Electrical and plumbing experience
- Minimum level of High School education or equivalent
- Good Leadership skills
- Good organizational skills
- Obtaining Fair Housing Certification
- Regular and prompt attendance required
- Must be able to work indoors as well as outdoors
- Must be able to be on feet, climb stairs, push, pull, climb ladders, lift and carry materials and equipment of varying weights
- Must be able to utilize personal transportation to pick up supplies from vendors
- Must have neat appearance
