Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the property's maintenance, including grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency repairs. Prepare inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies, then place orders for necessary maintenance resources. Perform indoor and outdoor tasks while climbing stairs, ladders, and lifting materials of varying weights, utilizing personal transportation to pick up supplies from vendors. Obtain Fair Housing Certification and maintain regular, prompt attendance. Lead teams with strong organizational skills and communicate effectively with residents, employees, vendors, and prospects. Requires HVAC, electrical, and plumbing expertise alongside a minimum of two years in maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Maintenance experience
- HVAC certification
- Electrical and plumbing experience
- Minimum level of High School education or equivalent
- Good Leadership skills
- Good organizational skills
- Obtaining Fair Housing Certification
- Regular and prompt attendance required
- Must be able to work indoors as well as outdoors
- Must be able to be on feet, climb stairs, push, pull, climb ladders, lift and carry materials and equipment of varying weights
- Must be able to utilize personal transportation to pick up supplies from vendors
- Must have neat appearance
