Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of property maintenance, including grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency repairs. Manage inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies while placing orders for necessary maintenance services. Perform indoor and outdoor tasks, utilizing personal transportation to retrieve supplies from vendors. This role requires HVAC certification, electrical, and plumbing experience, along with at least two years of maintenance history. Candidates must obtain Fair Housing Certification and maintain regular attendance. The position involves constant physical activity, including climbing stairs, ladders, and lifting materials, with additional duties assigned by the Community Director.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Maintenance experience
- HVAC certification
- Electrical and plumbing experience
- Minimum level of High School education or equivalent
- Good Leadership skills
- Good organizational skills
- Obtaining Fair Housing Certification
- Regular and prompt attendance required
- Must be able to work indoors as well as outdoors
- Must be able to be on feet, climb stairs, push, pull, climb ladders, lift and carry materials and equipment of varying weights
- Must be able to utilize personal transportation to pick up supplies from vendors
- Must have neat appearance
