Job Summary
Lead maintenance operations by hiring, training, and supervising team members while overseeing contractors. Conduct fire system inspections, coordinate monthly drills, and develop preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators. Inspect, maintain, and repair critical systems to ensure safety and compliance. Manage supply ordering and adhere to budget guidelines while planning department staffing based on census needs and labor budgets. Provide job-specific training and promote adherence to safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- facility maintenance experience
- Understands HVAC, boiler, water, and emergency systems
- Can implement and manage a preventive maintenance program
- Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills
- Can manage supply ordering and departmental budgeting
