Maintenance Supervisor - Covey Homes Kirkland

Job Summary
Oversee and perform technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Manage the maintenance team by interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training new hires while conducting employee evaluations. Direct the complete "Make Ready" process and handle resident service requests by diagnosing defects and executing repairs per policy and code. Periodically inspect contractor and team work for quality, maintain spare parts inventory within budget, and complete monthly preventative maintenance procedures. Resolve customer complaints, ensure property compliance with safety laws, and report equipment malfunctions or injuries. Work 40 hours weekly with evening, weekend, and holiday on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and MSDS regulations
- Current Valid Driver's License
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- A valid Certified Pool Operator or a Certified Spa and Pool Operator certificate
- All certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions
- Must be available to work on weekends when scheduled
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions unaccompanied
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
- 1 - 3 Years Supervisor Experience
- Proven skills sufficient to hire, lead, direct, evaluate, and manage subordinates and team members
- 1 - 3 Years Management Experience
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking 'call' during evenings, weekends, and holidays
