Job Summary
Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold quality and safety standards while managing work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules. Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care, ensuring compliance with safety and housing regulations. Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks as needed. Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes, with schedules potentially including Saturdays based on property performance needs. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience, including team supervision
- HVAC certification
- knowledge of inspections, preventive maintenance, and Fair Housing
- Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance schedules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems
- Reliable transportation
- ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call emergencies
- High school diploma or GED
- technical or vocational training
- Work schedules may include Saturdays
- weekend coverage will be scheduled on a rotating basis
- Employees are expected to support leasing efforts, resident engagement, and rent collection activities during scheduled weekend hours
