Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor role at Monte Vista Apartments in Turlock, CA. Lead on-site maintenance team, coach staff, complete work orders timely, participate in on-call rotations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, monitor performance against community goals, assist in training, contribute to annual budget and bid recommendations, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems. Requires hands-on maintenance capability across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry, 2+ years in apartment maintenance with 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred, strong communication with residents and vendors, and a valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent
- 2+ years of multi-family industry experience preferred
- 1-2 years in a supervisory role strongly preferred
- Proficiency with tools and power equipment (drills, saws, grinders)
- HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, carpentry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- On-site maintenance experience in apartment communities
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
- Budgeting and bid process familiarity
