Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor at Avon North & South Apartments in Denver, CO. Responsible for the overall maintenance of the property and supervision of on-site maintenance staff; hands-on completion of work orders; coaching and training the maintenance team; supporting annual budgeting and bid recommendations; enforcing state regulations and CONAM policies; performing preventative maintenance; participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies; ensuring safety and operations standards; local driving for property management duties; and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent
- 2+ years of multi-family industry experience preferred
- 1-2 years in a supervisory role strongly preferred
- Technical experience with tools and power equipment including drills, saws, grinders, electrical testers, HVAC systems, plumbing tools; proficiency in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliance repair, and general carpentry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting abilities to quickly assess and resolve maintenance issues with minimal resident disruption
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with residents, team members, and vendors
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance
- Experience ensuring compliance with safety regulations and CONAM policies
