Job Summary
Lead and supervise the maintenance team by assigning daily work orders, prioritizing tasks, and training staff to ensure all repairs are completed on time and to quality standards. Oversee rent-ready unit preparation, respond to emergency maintenance calls, and conduct regular property inspections to address safety concerns and maintain curb appeal. Coordinate vendors and contractors, monitor project timelines, and manage maintenance budgets while ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. Maintain accurate records in AppFolio and communicate regularly with Property Management and leadership on operations and priorities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily residential or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and carpentry
- EPA 608 Certification
- Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies and manage an on-call rotation
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC, plumbing, or electrical trade license
- Pool Operator Certification (CPO)
- Experience with AppFolio or comparable property management software
- Demonstrated experience managing maintenance budgets and vendor relationships
- Strong communication skills and prior experience reporting to senior management or ownership
- 1+ years in a supervisory or lead maintenance role
