Job Summary
Conduct daily property maintenance operations and manage the maintenance staff in conjunction with the Facilities Manager. Develop effective project plans to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives while overseeing capital planning for building systems and grounds. Keep current on energy technology and utility regulations to ensure the property achieves the lowest unit cost. Coordinate peer inspections, write schedules for adequate staff coverage, and deliver monthly narrative reports highlighting activities and savings. Lead by example in problem-solving and ensure development plans exist for each employee under supervision. Participate in the staffing process and provide recommendations for open operations positions. Must work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 2-4 years' experience as Maintenance/Senior Maintenance Tech
- equivalent experience
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS)
- Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions
- Area specific licenses
- CFC universal
- High level of knowledge of chiller/boiler operations
- High level of knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Must be able and willing to work varying schedules, which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
- Close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal and expansive reading
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
