Job Summary
Conduct daily safety crew briefings and lead layered process audits to maximize equipment uptime and ensure zero-injury culture compliance. Manage maintenance work teams to execute preventive maintenance schedules, investigate safety incidents, and drive continuous improvement projects that eliminate waste and reduce scrap. Coordinate with production and engineering to support daily throughput goals while enforcing safety principles and standard work procedures. Rotate shifts in a 24/7 operation and lead performance appraisals to sustain high employee engagement and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED required.
- At least 5+ years industrial electrical and/or mechanical work experience with leadership responsibility.
- Is technically competent and capable of backfilling team members.
- Has the ability to understand the manufacturing process and technical knowledge to ensure product quality and flow.
- Has the ability to understand how activities impact cash conversion, EBITDA and other key financial metrics.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety policies and procedures, HR policies, standard work documents, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, charts etc.
- Ability to rotate shifts in a 24/7 operation.
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational technical degree or completion of an apprentice program.
