Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations at a Hartford apartment community. Responsibilities include directing and supervising the maintenance team, ensuring resident-friendly service, Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, sheet rock, etc., monitoring inventory within budget, conducting property and unit inspections, coordinating with vendors for outsourced work, and ensuring Safe, Decent and Sanitary Housing for residents. Requires HS diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred), 3+ years as a Lead Maintenance Tech, knowledge of Yardi, English proficiency, valid driver’s license, and successful background check. Monday–Friday schedule with after-hours availability; competitive benefits and sign-on/retention bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years as a Lead Maintenance Tech
- Working Knowledge of Onsite or Yardi Software
- English language proficiency (read, speak and write)
- Ability to pass a full background check
