Job Summary
Lead Maintenance Operations, hire/train/supervise maintenance staff, conduct fire-system inspections and monthly drills, develop/implement a preventive maintenance program, inspect and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators; manage supplies and budgets, oversee contractors, ensure safety, compliance, and operational standards, train staff on safety procedures, and coordinate staff schedules according to census and labor budgets. Candidates should have facility maintenance experience (healthcare/long-term care preferred) with knowledge of HVAC, boiler, water, and emergency systems, and strong leadership and budgeting capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Facility maintenance experience (healthcare or long-term care preferred)
- Understanding of HVAC, boiler, water, and emergency systems
- Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage supply ordering and departmental budgeting
- HVAC experience preferred but not required
